We've had a few heated arguments but that's OK, I like arguing (not to be confused with fighting) with people, the better they can argue with me the more I like them, and my policy is that if I find somebody's argument is more logical than mine then I will abandon my previous position and adopt theirs as my own. And we've never had an ugly flamewar of the sort we had here in 2016 and 2020. I admit at least part of the reason for that is that it is much less active than this list, and most of the posts are by me. It's free, you can still have a moderator if you want one, and there's no problem in posting large photographs or charts. And best of all it's far far more reliable. I don't know if things have improved but from the day I joined in 1993 this list was constantly going down, sometimes for a few hours, sometimes for a few days, sometimes for a few weeks.
