A perfectly reasonable line of logic suggests that if one does not reside in one of the (usually about 7 or 8) swing states, which have about 11 to 14 percent of the population, then one should choose whichever non-mainstream candidate which most closely aligns with one’s values. This is a joke of course, because Libertarians will never act in unison, out of principle. If one of the mainstream candidates fully embraced the LP platform, the PL would not know what to do. Likewise with Greens.
