And are we talking about the general framework?  Arguably, specific<br>
versions of Claude would be more analogous to a specific individual<br>
(each version being something akin to a parent or older sibling of the<br>
next), and those are rarely in significant use for more than a few<br>
years (at the extreme).<br>

One could try to make an argument that "Claude" includes R&D<br>
stretching back many years, before the name Claude was formally in<br>
use, but that seems unlikely to pass court review (all other aspects<br>
of court review aside).<br>
