I'm a bit confused (and I don't mean about the actual meaning of the word 'ceasefire', which obviously means "you can't shoot at us, but we can shoot at you").<br>

How can an element be 'destroyed'? Is the idea to oxidise it? That would be a bit pointless. The only thing I can think of would be to use an accelerator or a nuclear reactor to turn it into something else. Like plutonium, maybe...<br>
(unless he means leave it where it is, for a really long time)<br>
