<div dir="ltr">I have just published a new revision of a paper:<div><a href="https://philpapers.org/archive/RESEHA.pdf"><i>Epistemic Horizons: A Computational Theory of Consciousness, Perspective, and Knowability</i></a></div><div><br></div><div>It represents the culmination of my past 20 years spent researching the problems of consciousness.</div><div><br></div><div>It offers a novel theory based minimal assumptions, and offers answers to the hard problem of consciousness: it explains why and how certain information processing systems have a point of view. It has implications for AI, animal, and uploaded consciousness (which is why I think some members of this list may be interested in it).</div><div><br></div><div>I welcome any feedback, criticisms, comments or questions.</div><div><br></div><div>Jason</div></div>
