Very well, I shall. The current POTUS brought in a guy who plainly told us what must happen to avert utter catastrophe. He told the truth, very much at his own expense, as the locals who previously loved his cars dumped them at a big loss. The electric car market which was growing, reversed and is now swooning. However he was right. He would of course not get that past congress, so the government would be shut down for the entire four years of his second term. Meanwhile, he would need to order the US military overseas to come home, shut down all foreign bases, lay off most of the military, decimate the executive branch bureaucracy. These are things that POTUS controls. The changes needed are that drastic. Elon told us the truth: that is how drastic the cuts must be. Elon was telling the truth. The guy who hired him ignored his advice, pretending we can outgrow our own government’s debt.
