We have so many factions, each gets his own over which he has total dictatorial control. But if you average it out, Libertarian (the largest of the third parties) is generally centrist. It really become noticeable in 2016 when the Democrat mainstream cheated its candidate (Sanders) out of his chance at nomination, then got caught by what was apparently an insider leaking the Democrat party server to former ExI poster Julian Assange, who posted it all to WikiLeaks. Party leaders were not pleased.
