--Only those who understand and relate well to
teenagers. Adults in our culture tend to be heavily
indoctrinated with "adult-speak" which makes it
difficult for them to authentically relate to kids.
Anyone who is still a kid at heart will find it
easier, especially if he or she went through similar
experiences as a kid. Grandparents tend to be good
with kids if they're proactive and involved.
Obviously looking at a kid as a problem and trying to
manipulate him into doing what you believe he should
be doing isn't going to work. Nobody likes to be
manipulated, at any age.
