Maybe not. Could be that Anthony Pellegrini as a professor in early childhood development thinks all children need a broad range of activity to experience the entire range of activity from fighting to fleeing. Only by knowing these activities will children grow into adults who can handle both emotional extremes, depending on the circumstances. Isn't this similar to gambling at poker and knowing when to hold 'em and when to show 'em? As the song continues....know when to walk away...know when to run.
