Hardly.
I have heard from a number of Americans how they feel it is their God Given
Right to shoot dead anyone who so much as puts a toe on their land or a
finger on their property without permission.

Universal and unlimited rights to own weapons does not make a safe place.
At best it simply shifts the risk.
