There are those who will report in all ernestness, that
the government can fire a dart into any person making
them trackable by evil government forces.

Remember back to 1970 when there was that tragic
incident where several students were slain on the
campus of Kent State University by panicky National
Guard troops. In the days leading up to that shooting,
there was a fire of suspicious origin in one of the
engineering buildings. This fire was said to
have happened in a lab where a certain magnetic
resonance technology was being developed which could
be placed unnoticed upon an unwitting victim's clothing,
allowing that person to be tracked from some distance.
It was rumored that this technology was used by CIA
operatives to track the Cuban revolutionary Che Guevera
in the days before his untimely end.

The name of the technology that was being studied
in that destroyed lab is familiar to us today:
liquid crystals.
