In another decision by the 9th circuit court certain to draw
controversy from the left (for a change), Kenniwick Man, a skeleton
dating back more than 9,000 years found in Washington State, which
posesses characteristics common to the caucasian Ainu tribe, the
aboriginal people of Japan, has been ruled to have no evidence that he
is tied in any way to any existing native American tribe. Therefore he
belongs  to science.

This should be hailed as a victory of science over superstition, rather
than focusing on the divisive issue of tenancy in North America, since
Kenniwick Man predates the tenancy of the modern Indian's ancestors, he
raises political questions in this area.
