OK, I don't disagree with this, and I do see what Jim is trying to do,
but beware (I would say, more, *don't*) trying to do science with raw
astronomy data that is not calibrated, processed  etc. (Camera images might
be one of the  few astronomy raw data products in which _something_
can be seen, so you are lucky.) Enjoy the pictures, in other words.
