The New York Times has an interesting commentary on aspects
of people living longer and maintaining health through old age:

Life in the Age of Old, Old Age

It raises the interesting question as to whether we can turn back
the clock -- and if so -- when we will have that ability? Is there
a time when everything we have assumed about aging changes? Before
one answers that question, it is necessary to consider the fact that
we now have the complete human genome. Having the code and understanding
it are two different things. *But* we are getting better at both generating
the codes and interpreting them.
