Not fast enough. When the system was instituted, the average life
expectancy was 62 while full vestment was 65. Today life expectancy is
in the upper 70's, and even Clintons slight incrementally stepped
revision of retirement age upward to 67 is not keeping up with the
times. Today's retirement age should be 70 at least, and going up one
year per 5 years until practical immortality is acheived, then 1 year
per 2 years thereafter.
