Getting intoxicated from alcohol or marijuana is an
escape from  reality & mortality. Films, music, art,
are escapist. Attending church is comparable to going
to a play. The priests and pastors appears in front of
altars as if actors whose job is to transport you to
another place (Jerusalem, say); another time (1st
