Not to worry,  Yahoo owns Flickr too but has learned to keep such  
acquisitions relatively autonomous.  As a user you are unlikely to  
notice any difference.  There seems to be a new trend for companies  
such as Yahoo and Google to buy startups, preferably before VC are  
involved.
