The point ... perhaps it is possible to understand
many details of "Melencolia I" (i.e. Finkelstein,
in that brilliant paper, writes that Durer circumcised 
that cube to Hebraicize it) but it is difficult 
to realize the general meaning (if any) of it.
Even the term "Melencolia" has no apparent meaning.
(Ok that's also true for life, universe, etc.).
