It is pretty standard practice in such cases to do the necessary tests. 
  There is no way that any competent hospital would fail to perform or 
court fail to have performed the needed tests to determine the 
patient's prognosis, especially in a case this publicized and 
politicized.   If you have proof otherwise then it is your burden  to 
present it if you want to make such claims without looking like a 
complete crank.
