What was meant to herald a new era in low cost spaceflight, has become an object 
lesson in just how difficult it is to build a new launch vehicle from scratch 
with Space X reporting that it's Falcon 1 rocket failed to achieve safe flight 
and was apparently destroyed before reaching orbit. Details to follow.
