I don't know about Spock-In-A-Box, but here's what I'll tell you about  
life in 2007:

Sometimes an ordinary man returns home from a long day's work to find his  
wife in bed with another man.
The reptilian brain takes control and the man turns suddenly into an angry  
alligator with a gun. Very bad things happen.

I'd like to think such events won't occur very often in the year 3000.
