Which is another way of saying it transfers heat from a colder to a 
hotter body.

My fridge works because of a heat pump.

Heat pumps pump heat in the opposite direction to the normal flow of heat.
Making the cold body colder, and the hot one hotter.

Fridges are a bit like life. They seem to reverse entropy, but really 
they just redistribute it. Globally you get more of it, but locally, you 
get icecream.
