... and television comedians, too - whose gag writers have more than enough 
material with which to work these days.  Upon hearing that celebutante 
Hilton was let out of jail the other day because (revolted by jail gruel, I 
guess) she wasn't eating - Jay Leno said something to the effect:  "Why 
didn't Nelson Mandela think of that?"
