I have heard that virgin birth has been commonly attributed to religious
figures. The notion predates the Christ brothers.
> Then Abraham fell on his face and laughed and said to
> himself, "Shall a child be born to a man who is a hundred years old?
> Shall Sarah, who is ninety years old, bear a child?" ...
There is a reason why I chose the name Isaac for my son, beyond merely
honoring Newton and Asimov. If you read the story of Isaac, son of Abraham
in the book of Genesis (chapters 17-28), he generally sounds like a good
guy, with some character flaws. Certainly he has brought much laughter into
the lives of his elderly parents.
