I have heard that virgin birth has been commonly attributed to religious
figures.  The notion predates the Christ brothers.

There is a reason why I chose the name Isaac for my son, beyond merely
honoring Newton and Asimov.  If you read the story of Isaac, son of Abraham
in the book of Genesis (chapters 17-28), he generally sounds like a good
guy, with some character flaws.  Certainly he has brought much laughter into
the lives of his elderly parents.
