This is no different than the assertions routinely made about the US  
political system that are ignorant at such a basic level that any  
derived conclusions will not have intersection with reality.  I was a  
product of free government healthcare as well, and I am always puzzled  
by the assertions of its non-existence.

It is really just a kind of provincialism.  Most countries in Europe  
have governments structured in roughly the same way, and consequently  
lack the imagination or experience to understand that socialist  
parliamentary systems (with or without a monarch) are not the only  
form of modern industrialized country.  That the US Federal government  
is the rough political equivalent of the EU should be a lesson...
