It was a rather odd voyeristic feeling to watch the brain being sliced. This is a superstar brain, on par with Broca's brain in Musée de l'Homme. Webcasting it in real-time (with messages from the lab shown on colourful post-it notes placed near the cameras) is the descendant of the Trojan Room coffee pot of the early 90's.

I fear that the first brain emulation scan will be even less interesting to watch.
