No, the elastic situational ethics of many atheists might actually be higher than ancient rigid morals of the traditional religious, but they aren't based on conventions; like when you celebrate the holidays you are complicit in celebrating traditional mores with family. 
Don't you think you might have one foot planted in religious tradition, and one foot in atheism or agnosticism?

You clearly have a belief that atheists are less moral in some way. Can you explain that position in more detail?
