No, I am like you a bit underwhelmed by the breadth of their knowledge base 
and
their seeming incapacity to draw from existing knowledge sources for 
anything other
than calculations.

I would be very curious to know how many knowledge engineers they have 
devoted full time to
expanding their knowledge base and at what rate their range of available 
queries will double and
continue to double.

These two data points will be critical to their success.

Wikipedia did not become indispensible until it's knowledge base reached a 
critical mass.
