Thanks Max. This is a terrific essay. I and Oberg have reached the same
conclusions via independent paths. I have read Oberg's material before, but
this is the first time that I know of he has specifically promoted an idea I
reached about 15 years ago: the future in human spaceflight will be in
remotely operating surface equipment from Martian orbit.
