I kicked off a thread about this a while back, looking for a word for
the phenomenon of finding that your neat new idea is old news, usually
via google. Damien suggested "googed", which I didn't like at the
time, but it's grown on me. My wife Jodie uses it, but pronounces the
OO sound like in google, rather than like in book, which was Damien's
suggestion. I'm liking the former (the latter implies being egged, but
would make sense to aussies only I think).

Spike I don't think you were quite googed, you were sandberged.
Happens to the best people.
