Apparently not.

Being the guy who started the thread to begin with, I would
theoretically be all over such a discussion. I already said all I
could in my first post, though. If anyone else wants to revive that
line of reasoning, I would certainly be with them.

(From what I recall, I was mainly talking about the inextricability of
any one branch of semiotics, say semantics, from any other, such as
syntax.)
