If the ghost of one's wife, or her upload on a digital computer,
manages to persuade somebody that she is his wife, one will identify
her as his wife, irrespective of the physiology, if any,

Sociologically there is nothing else to say.

Sure, somebody may refuse his conclusion for philosophical and
ultimately arbitrary reasons, on the same basis that he may contend
that she is not the same person anymore after seven years, because in
average all her atoms have been replaced after such a perod. But this
would end up being nothing else than a very idiosincratic POV.
