He's got the facts right, and clearly the movie isn't intended to
paint the human race as faultless, but I think he's making too much
out of it. This is primarily entertainment, not propaganda. It's
fantasy. But it does mirror certain historical events. Wanting to be
something better than human is a basic Extropian notion but the
reviewer seems to think that it's akin to heresy.

I definitely recommend that everyone catch Avatar in 3D in a theater.
It's stunning--not just the CGI, which is fantastic, but also the
human creativity that imagined it and brought it to life. It's a
familiar story, but it's told very well and in a novel setting.
