Marijuana is not completely benign - it can cause cancer and trigger
psychosis in the susceptible - but it is certainly safer than alcohol
both in the physical and psychological harm it can do. In many
countries cannabis use is already either decriminalised or effectively
decriminalised, and very widely used:
