I am not really knowledgeable about US academic cliques, and it may
well be the case that posthumanist intelligentsia in general is
irritating in its snubbing attitude towards organised transhumanism
and has after all a relatively limited social impact, but I would be
reluctant to put it altogether in the same bag with blatant
neoluddites such as the ones you mention.

This is one area where I am personally trying to build bridges.
Without renouncing one single inch of our own positions, but simply
trying to overcome language barriers...
