You misunderstood. What is dismaying is someone arguing in those fields 
for whom Philip Johnson-Laird, Stuart Professor of Psychology at 
Princeton, and his work was an unknown factor. Johnson-Laird's book 
MENTAL MODELS, for example, is a classic.
