Google any ancient post by me. (most of them were to technocalypse on
yahoogroups). Find a post where I ever did express any such special
claim about atoms. =|

Really? So adding two extra transistors to your computer will magically
transform it into an enchanted talisman that will allow you to choose
your point of view when there is nothing else in the universe that
suggests that the idea even makes sense?

So what? Who cares about the cat? I only care about me. The hidden magic
of uploading is that for it to be useful to the subject, the subject
must poses the supernatural power of being able to choose his point of
view. =P
