If you are able to re-engineer your brain, you are able to choose your
desires and change or eliminate your fears and anxieties. You could
modify yourself so that you are awake for a trillion subjective years,
enjoying every subjective second in anticipation of whatever noble
(but in your unaltered state, unpleasant) goal you care to think of.
