Yes, we routinely do that when you suffer a significant enough impairment or
you simply cannot be found. See under "legal death".

For the rest, I see no patterns commanding that stupid or illogic persons be
considered any less persons than smart ones, and I doubt that such criteria
would ever be adopted for AGIs...
