It really caught my attention because of this study:

I have been pondering this since it came out last month.  In principle I
don't see any good reason why it must be wrong.   If true, this is exciting
indeed, a new day for solar astronomy.  I always assumed solar storms were
always localized, but had no justification for that assumption.
