That chart of Max's has an assumption that a 'voluntary' singularity would be necessarily good, and an 'authoritarian' one, necessarily bad. I don't see that this has to be the case, surely there are possibilities of bad voluntary outcomes, or good authoritarian ones? Ben Zaiboc
