Look, if you think that lacking agility to track peak demand
(while renewables track peak demand near-optimally) due to
thermal inertia is a feature, or is there to optimize costs my 
llama just exploded.

In general, I think I'll just stop responding to you. I don't know
what your particular belief system is, and I don't really want to
know.

The physical reality speaks loudly enough. Eventually, somebody is
bound to listen. A toast to these hypothetical engineers of the future.
