The 'good' news is that nations appear to be already struggling with
high energy prices. This probably indicates that the existing energy
industries are reaching the peak of supply / prices that they can
extract from the world economy. Once they cannot squeeze much more out
of the old energy industries you will see them invest big in the new
energy systems. The move away from fossil fuels will come eventually.
