The fact that this is work by Iranian scientists might help to get increased funding for this kind of research in the west. Shouldn't be hard to rile up some american senators about the 'Eye-rain-ians' gaining the upper hand in molecular electronics. (It's just a design proposal, not a working product, but in politics, who cares about that?)

Anyone here care to comment on the likely feasibility of this design?
