Well, Google image search can search by image: try clicking the little 
camera on https://encrypted.google.com/imghp

In this case it did not find anything, although it did pick up on the 
diamond-shaped vaguely native pattern and suggested some quilts. That 
suggests some mildly clever image recognition, not just looking for 
similar colors and hashes.
