Yes. :)

In the world of investments it is practically or actually illegal to suggest that any asset will appreciate according to some "Law," whether it be a type of Moore's Law or otherwise, and this as it ought to be. 

Economics is called "the dismal science" for good reason. It is a social science, not a natural science.
