you're proposing. =(

The only thing absolutely required for off-world colonies is the will to 
do it.


Do you have any idea what this looks like to the outside world? Every 
day, recently, Alex Jones gets on the air and tells an audience of ten 
million people scattered around the world that the elite will, as 
advocated by Ray Kurzweil will "merge with machines" and kill the rest 
of the population. What am I supposed to say to that? "You're exactly 
right, man."?

It is your attitude that is jeopardizing transhumanism and reducing the 
chances that we will actually get anything better than a somewhat 
effective life-extension treatment.
