Because, in all these years of testing, they still haven't tried to connect
a pot of water to their heater, and plonk a thermometer inside. Instead,
it's all of sorts of complicated setups, requiring a lof of derivation
steps. First it was water wapor production, now thermal imaging and
aluminum emissivity. Lots of complexity, and lots of opportunities to make
mistakes even in good faith.
