I got my first computer after the Dot-com bubble.

I still remember when Firefox supported Gopher. I think the intent of
Gopher hasn't been maintained. File systems are now graphical, but gopher
is still html-esque. The modern combination of embedded objects that are
automatically opened makes things horrendously insecure.

On the other hand, how can you stay in business without including
advertisements?
