[ExI] Extropy email list in 1990s - History

I'm preparing for a presentation for a cool event in Berlin. I am looking at
the Internet as the sphere seeding the global culture/society of radical
life extension.

 

As far as I remember, email lists started in 1991 and the extropy list
started in 1991.  On this list were original discussions (between many of
us, including Minsky, Moravec, Drexler) on the speculative and emerging
sciences and technologies that form the theme or study of radical life
extension that has gone viral as the Internet.

 

Does anyone know when the email list first started, its dialup, hosting,
etc.  (All the tech stuff.)
